This NGO was founded by educators to support the society and teach the citizens “how to be life-long learners” on 17 May 2005. The founding president of the society is Dr.Hayal Köksal, vice president is Prof.Dr. Filiz Karaosmanoğlu, the governing board members are; Hatice Bal, Servet Köksal and Hayrettin Dereli. The main goal of the society is to support individuals and community through projects, and to improve a continuous improvement philosophy among the community members, leading teachers and parents. One of the first deeds of the Society has been a “Student-Parent Book” to inform them about the new curriculums. 2010 Istanbul European Cultural Capital City Project namely; Bigg-İstanbul.
