The National Youth Development Trust [NYDT], as Non-Governmental Organization [NGO], Non-Profit Organization [NPO] and Public Benefit Organisation, specializes in dedicated career path development. The NYDT Programme is based on anticipatory profiling. It was founded in Pretoria. The NYDT philosophy is based on the following premises:

1. Foundation of leadership: Success breeds leadership: Successful people are leaders; all leaders are not successful

2. National Vision: The creation of a National Vision for the Youth to lead them into the next generations is a prerequisite

3. Global Environment: The development of the South African Youth in international perspective – and within the boundaries of the Global Environment - is a critical success factor to ensure accomplishment
