Course Objectives:
The Objective of this course is to develop a basic understanding of Total Quality Management (TQM) and PDCA Mindset (Plan, Do, Check, Act) in educational settings, especially at the classroom. The course includes; The main concepts and principles of Total Quality, Relationship between the parties, Main Pillars and principles of TQ, Strategic Planning including Mission, vision and goal-writing, Organizational culture and climate, Leadership of the Teachers, Students’ Quality Circles (in school and at the classroom), Quality tools, Quality efforts for the school and the classroom, Measurement and evaluation, Main obstacles to Quality.
